The Dutch shipyard Van der Valk combined the spirit of adventure with high quality materials when they designed the 34-metre Lady Lene. The all-aluminium tri-deck explorer yacht was delivered in 2021 and emulates the Van der Valk philosophy of developing innovative and efficient yachts.

Lady Lene comes from a collaboration of some of the best minds in the industry to create a bold, and eye-catching design that inspires confidence for even the most intrepid explorer. Her naval architecture is the work of Diana Yacht Design B.V. and Ginton Naval Architects who have equipped her with a fast-displacement round bilge hull, a wave-piercing bow and a Hull Vane transom wing to offer superb performance results.

Lady Lene stands out from others with her mocha hull and white superstructure, and exterior design by Guido de Groot Design. Her 260 GT offers distinctly large ceilings that add to her overall sense of class and freedom. Lady Lene’s light and spacious interior design by Carla Guilhem Design turns her into a home on the water, and creates a more residential look from others.

The inspiration for her interior design was drawn from the golden-age of yachting which snuggled into the great Art Deco period of the early twentieth century. Lady Lene features many rounded corners and a neutral palette to create a timeless yet nostalgic interior design.

Lady Lene is able to accommodate up to eight guests across four sumptuous staterooms. Her master suite offers guests panoramic vistas of the world going by thanks to large landscape windows. The VIP suite on the bridge has its own balcony and terrace, with further accommodations including a double and a single stateroom.

Although a lot of care and attention has been paid to the interior, the focal point of Lady Lene is likely to be the aft entertainment area. This large open space truly embraces life close to the water, while offering dedicated zones for relaxation and dining. The generous aft deck includes a large swim platform with central companionway to the main deck.

In terms of performance Lady Lene is able to reach a top speed of 18 knots, and a comfortable cruising speed of 14 knots, thanks to twin MAN engines. YachtCreators worked alongside the shipyard as construction managers for the build.
